In Romeo and Juliet act 2, scene 1, Mercutio and Benvolio assume that Romeo is still in love with Rosaline, but the audience knows he now loves Juliet. What kind of irony is this?

Depends on how your class is defining ironies. Look up what your class has talked about for irony. If any of it confuses you, post about that. Once you understand irony in different forms as it applies in your class, the answer will be clear.
