Which of the following is the correct graph of the compound inequality n > −3 and n < −5? ( PICTURE INCLUDED ) number line with open dots at ¨C3 and ¨C 5 and shading between them. number line with open dots at ¨C3 and 5 and shading between them. number line with open dots at ¨C3 and -5 and shading to the right of the ¨C3 and to the left of the -5. open number line to illustrate the ¡°no real solutions¡± answer to this inequality problem.
have u come up with any answer? or any idea how to do it?
nope
ok n> -3 indicates.. that n is all the values above -3 and n<-5 means.. all values before -5... so do u think u can match up any graph with this description?
what does open dot and closed dot mean again
nvm lol
@nubeer so its the third answer?
or the second one
im lost i think its either the second or third one..@nubeer
sorry it's some bug .. my previous comment doesn't leave the box had to refresh ... it should be third option
thanks :) yea i was thinking 3rd option but then got confused when i looked at the pic and thought it could also be the 2nd
umm no second cannot be as the other dot is on 5 not -5.. so that cannot be the answer.
thanks
