Please help me solve the following problem. Determine whether the line and plane are parallel, perpendicular or neither. Line: x=4+2t y=-t z=-1-4t Plane: 3x+2y+z=7

Vector of line: v=<2,-1,4> Vector of plane: n=<3,2,1>

OpenStudy (babyslapmafro):

Since the dot product of n and v equals zero, the line and the plane are perpendicular.
