What was one of the key effects of the election of Hiram Revel as a U.S. Senator from Mississippi in 1870? growing appreciation for the contributions of minorities in public office growing concern among whites about the power of African-American voters increased acceptance of African-Americans in the political processes in the South increased commitment among African-Americans to vote regardless of the dangers I have no idea .-.
I know its not C.
Okay. Since you've eliminated C. Let look at the other possible answers: growing appreciation for the contributions of minorities in public office growing concern among whites about the power of African-American voters increased commitment among African-Americans to vote regardless of the dangers Remember that Hiram Revel was the first African American U.S. Senator. Okay so what do you think it is now?
I'm thinking A or D. (closer to D) but im not sure
Honestly, I can't really narrow this down. I don't know much about this man. I would this it to be D too, because before he took office the African Americans had a major lack of commitment for the political system. After he became a senator, people became more committed to be involved.
Thank you, I'll research a bit and see if I find anything (; thanks for your help!
No problem :-).
opcode maybe you can help me with this question: ill post it in the chat (the link)
