From the second equation, substitute value of y in the first equation.. solve that for x.. once you have x, put its value in any one of the equations to find the value of y..

you can solve it and tell me the answer. i can check it for you.. another way of checking it is, put the values of x and y in both the equations. both the equations should be satisfied.
