Question

is anybody having problems submitting the codecademy exercises Python 1 and 2. It keeps freezing on me -Mac at home and PC at work

Do you mean that when you try and click the "Save and Submit" button during a Codeacademy lesson, your browser freezes? Or are you trying to submit a copy of the exercise somewhere else?

@andy.gray We've noticed Codecademy can be a little flakey sometimes. Try a different browser or come back later and try. Also, it's sometimes flaky if you are on a network with heavy firewalls.

It sounds like it may be a web sockets issue, which we've seen with a few users — could you have the user make sure that web sockets are enabled on both computers?

To do that they should:

1. Visit http://websocketstest.com/
2. Scroll to the bottom and send the Result ID to us

We'll look at the ID and see what seems to be happening.
