well from the ground to the first rope it is 21 feet. but it wants from the second rope. so do you have any idea what it might be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no clue thats why i was asking lol :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sweetie, I may be wrong but I think it is 30 ft.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait would it help you if i gave u a website link that should you how to do this triangle????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

possibly

@dan815

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sweetie. it has been so long since I took algebra or geometry. I cannot remember how to calculate it. I know that all triangles = 180 degrees, but this is not talking about the angles. it is talking about the length.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if my calculations are right. its 27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the hypotenuse of that triangle is 42 and 42+21 is 63, and 90-63 is 27.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!!!!!
