The first sentence means this in algebra:\[y=k \frac{ 1 }{ 2x }\]Where k is a constant of proporcionality. If we solve for k using the given values we find that k=2xy=2(3)(10)=60. Then if you find y at x=5:\[y=60\frac{ 1 }{ 2(5) }=6\]
