I always like gravity. An apple falling from a tree is the allegorical depiction of Isaac Newton applying calculus to falling objects. s(t) = -16t^2 + (V0)t + (S0) That equation is derived from gravity as a downward acceleration where "things pick up speed" v(t) = -32t + (V0) If we integrate the velocity equation we get the particle position equation of a falling body that I have in my first post where: V0 is the initial velocity S0 is the initial position of the falling body -32 feet/(sec^2) is the gravitational constant
