Can anyone please explain how to solve this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

supplementary angles, meaning 2 angles, you add them up, and they are \(180^o\)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so, A + F = 180

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

If it is supplementary it means that the measure = 180 so you have x = angle x + 5x = 180 solve for x

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

but A is 5 times F so A = 5F so, A + F can be rewritten 5F + F = 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer would be 30?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

for "F", yes

@jdoe0001

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yes

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

6F = 180 F = 180/6 = 30

Thank you very much!!!
