use the 30-60-90 triangle relationship below to find the length of the altitude you drew in part 1 leave your answer in simplest form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is the triangle in part 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would i then plug in 8 for all the S or would it be 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so my answer would be 4*√3=6.9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it is to the most simplest radical form right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now the next question asks me to use the height i found to find the area of the triangle and round the the nearest 10th i would do 1/2 (b*h) 1/2 (4*6.9) area = 13.8 but round to the nearest to the nearest 10th would be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

13.8 still

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it tells me to find the area of the equilateral triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldnt you do 1/2 (base * height) to find the area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and not add sqrt(3)
