Hi, do ou know how to make a stem and leaf diagram? For qs20, you need to put the data into a stem and leaf diagram which will enable you to work out the answer :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you need any more help on q20, let me know. For qs21, I think that from the stem & leaf diagram, you can simply count the numer of values in the stem for values beginning with 13. I have not done stats in a while but I think that's the method.

For qs22, the mean is simply the average value. To calculate this, you add up all the values and divide by the number of values.

how would I format the answer for q 20?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just kidding i figured that out, thank you!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For q20, it's best to do 2 stem and leaf diagrams, one which is unordered then one that is ordered. You do an unordered on like in the diagram I've attached. I have filled in some values for an unordered stem and leaf.

wow thanks so much

Your welcome, let me know how you get on with the others :)

I got 10 for q20 2 for q21 112.9 for q 22 112 for q 23

Hi, sorry for the late reply! The stem beginning with 10 is correct for q20. q21 is also right and so are q22 and q23. Well done :D
