Find the midpoint of the line segment whose endpoints are (3,5) and (-2,0) :)

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

use midpoint formula

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

a simple way to do this is find the average of the x values and the average of the y values so you have x values 3 and -2 and y values 5 and 0 add the x's together then divide by 2 do the same for the y values... and you'll get the midpoint.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

midpoint formula \[\frac{ x1+x2 }{ 2 } \frac{ y1+y2 }{ 2 }\]
