A solar cell is used to run a small motor that powers a mower. Put the following energy conversions in the correct order. 1234A) electrical energy 1234B) chemical energy 1234C) radiant energy 1234D) mechanical kinetic

Can anyone help

OpenStudy (aaronq):

so it's solar right? meaning it first captures photons (radiant energy) right? what happens next?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I can't figure out

OpenStudy (aaronq):

well basically you're using diodes to (chemical) to generate an electron flow (electrical) which turns the gears (or whatever) in the lawn mower (mechanical)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's radiant, chemical, electrical, then mechanical right?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

yep thats it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks man

OpenStudy (aaronq):

no prob dude
