ok idk if this is paranoia or true but i need a device to scan my house or area. if thats even possible to have that device.

all right my mom thinks that we are being spied on with cameras and microphones. i dont find it surprising cuz our family is going through so probs. me i cannot have my friends come and check the entire area because questions will rise. so i need something to scan my house with to check for that. anybody have some ideas of what i can use for that?

There are camera detectors (Semi-Cheap) that look for cameras and also many RF signal scanners (Best Option) they scan for all signals being ommited from cameras and such, you can also turn off all the lights in the house and look for small flashing lights from the devices.

Basically surveillance works like this:

Someone plants the tech in the house and it could be 

1. Wireless (RF Signal) which someone can then pick up the footage from somewhere outside the house. (Most Probable)

2. Memory, which someone has to manually retrieve the footage. In this case you can only look for blinking lights.

For RF signal you can search "RF Signal Detector" on Google and buy one,  or you can take a radio (Portable Radio) and scan around the house on different stations for RF signals, also you can search "How To Sweep For Bugs" on Google and find tutorials.

Just build a giant faraday cage around your house and fire a massive EMP in the backyard. No one will be spying on you anymore :)
