The perimeter of a rectangular sheet of silver foil is 32 feet, and the area is 60 square feet. If the length and width of this rectangular sheet of metal were each multiplied by 6, what would be the perimeter of the new sheet? A. 192 ft. B. 200 ft. C. 242 ft. D. 484 ft.

OpenStudy (yrelhan4):

Area = length*breadth Perimeter = 2(length + breadth) ... two equations, you can find the values of length of breadth.. once you have them.. multiply both of them by 6, and find the perimeter by using Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)..

so the anaser is C right? cuase thats what i got

OpenStudy (yrelhan4):

hmm i'll check. wait.

k

OpenStudy (yrelhan4):
