The weight of an object is defined as its mass times the acceleration due to gravity. On earth, this constant is 9.8 meters/second^2. Hence, an object with weight 350 Newton has a mass of 350/9.8=35.7 kilograms. The mass of an object (its 'resistance to acceleration') does not change, so if on Mars an object weighs 134 Newton, the constant of gravity on Mars ( a ) is given by: 134/a = 35.7. It is easy to see that the acceleration due to gravity on Mars is 3.75 m/s^2.
