Identify the graph of y = 2x + 7 and its inverse.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

fore the invers all it does is changes the x,y like you have to switch them. -2,3 so its invers will be 3,-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have the graph of \(y=2x+7\) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know you can type it in the graphing calculatur if you have one with you @selenamalter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

line with slope 2, y intercept 7, looks something like this |dw:1371743214076:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok all these are parabolas, so none of them are \(y=2x+7\) which is a line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

perhaps it was \(y=x^2+7\) ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, wait a second, i put the wrong ones up there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's better only the last one has the graph of \(y=2x+7\) slope is 2, y intercept is 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay
