P(x) = x^2 + x – 2. Find P(2). A. 0 B. 2 C. 4 D. 7

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

So you would replace every 'x' you see in your equation with 2 now... so P(x) = x² + x - 2 turns into P(2) = 2² + 2 - 2 What does that come out to...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 ?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

P(2) = 2² + 2 - 2 P(2) = 2² P(2) = 4
