You do PEMDAS (Order of Operation) So you want to do the parenthesis first.
7*9 - (4+8) / 2 - (7-5)
= 7*9 - (12) / 2 - (2)
Next you want to do the multiplication.
= 63 - (12) / 2 - (2)
Next you want to do the division.
63 - 6 - 2
Subtract from left to right.
This would give you 55.
