OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you flip a coin many times, the coin should come up heads about 1 time out of every 2 times it is flipped. If a coin is flipped 596 times, about how many heads should come up?

OpenStudy (zale101):

You're in the english section XD I assume this is a math question, post it here: http://openstudy.com/study#/groups/Mathematics

OpenStudy (loser66):

it is exactly 1/2 probability of the spade. it's =596/2= 298 times

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

@Loser66, you are thinking cards. Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and the power suit the Spades. In coins it is is just Heads and Tails. So half heads, half tails, by basic probability. In real life, we see it is much more complex. For example, how Derren Brown tossed a coin with the prediction that he would get ten heads in a row and did so.
