I tested it out on gmail, live, and yahoo but i still didn't get it in any of them...

That is very stange.. If the activation wasn't sent to your email 3 times you must have done something wrong. Did you already tried signing up using Facebook?

You can create a Facebook profile, just to sign up for OpenStudy :)
