find the coordinate of the fourth corner of the side of rectangle , three of whose corner are (-1,2), (4,2) ,( 3,5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here midpoint of (-1,2) and ( 3,5) is (-1+3)/2 , (2+5)/2--> (1,7/2) let the 4th point be (a,b) then midpoint of (4,2) and (a,b) must be (1,7/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i.e (4+a)/2=1 ---> a=-2 and (2+b)/2= 7/2 --> b=5 hence the 4th cordinate may be (-2,5)

if u are able to plot on a graph paper it will clear ur doubts
