please help me with a question "Q : a thin wire ring of radius 'r' has an electric charge 'q' . What will be the increment of force stretching the wire if a point charge is placed at the center's ring ? "

|dw:1371937753387:dw| |dw:1371937861463:dw| consider a small element making angle d(theta) with centre of the ring... the tension for that element is shown in the fig... now equate 2 times of sin component of tension with the coulombic force between that elent and the charge kept at the centre..... if u have understood then 'give me five'..!!! or else i will explain it again to u.....
