aren't pretests sort of supposed to show what you already know about something? I would say just do your best with what you know so far, and then study for and get help on the assignments leading up to the actual test so you'll be ready! :D

Pretests just test to see you what you know! It doesn't count towards your final grade and it actually doesn't really count.
