Does anyone know how some beliefs of confirmation bias can generate their own confirmation ?

I'd say that when someone is so biased towards something to the point that he or she is completely convinced that whatever they think is true is exactly that--true--then that in itself has confirmed their beliefs... I'm not quite sure if this is making sense haha, but let's just put it this way. If you truly, truly, truly believe that something is true and you somehow use something else to convince yourself that your own opinion is true, then haven't you already confirmed your beliefs? Not sure if that completely made sense, but if you have any more questions, just let me know! Hope this helped :)
