Not sure if this is a math question . I guess its more of a catch question and is very amusing. Rearrange the letters of NEW DOOR to give one word. The book I got it from said there are 2 possible answers.

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

Does it have to contain all the letters and does it have to be one 7 letter word?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

good question - if i answer that i might give it away

OpenStudy (zarkon):

one word

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

trick question ftw XD

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

Zarkon has one answer

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

LOL I thought Zarkon was answering my question

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

lol

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

The other answer is bizarre: - as nothing is said about the orientation of each letter when they are rearranged you can turn the W upside down and the you get DOORMEN

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

- I would never have got that!

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Clever :D Reminds me of the T O W A R ^ form one word without using any letter twice question I encountered a while back :D

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

TOWER maybe?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

There's no E :D

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

right - but it send nothing about replacing a letter - but i suppose we have to assume you use all the letters that are there.

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Yeah, that. Bloody loopholes. :)

Parth (parthkohli):

Water?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

no E. -.-

OpenStudy (dan815):

woter

OpenStudy (dan815):

lol

OpenStudy (dan815):

in my village we spell it woter

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

There's still no E.

OpenStudy (dan815):

wotar

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

lol

OpenStudy (dan815):

lol

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Answer?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yea - tell us

OpenStudy (dan815):

why cant i form a word that has no meaning :)

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

ARROWROOT. You know which loophole was exploited ;)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yes - each letter is used three times

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

mhmm :)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

oh no

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Was ist los?

OpenStudy (dan815):

hey did u guys know that saying Word! is actually not slang

OpenStudy (dan815):

lol the dictionary uses it that way too

OpenStudy (dan815):

Exclamation Used to express agreement: "“That Jay is one dangerous character.” “Word.”"

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

I see it now A and R and only used once and others 3 times - good puzzle

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

lol A T and W I should have said.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

My brain is 'kaput' - thats whats 'los' !

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Oh well...

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

Do you live in Germany Terenzreignz?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Terenz (bitte) And no, I just felt like typing that sentence at the time. Do you? :)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no - its just that I'm visiting Cologne in August for a few days and was wondering if they spoke Hoch Deutsch there. Last time a visited a village near Munich and had great difficulty in understanding them

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Are you German, then?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no - I'm Welsh but a learnt German in school and spent one year in North Germany about 10 years ago.

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):
