That's not impressive at all. I have never seen kids from 6th grade preparing for IMO.

I think its sorta funny very similar to LUMS and IBA in Pakistan(although people normally prepare for these places)  and it all depends upon luck.Even if a person studies from class 6 he isn't gonna achieve something more than someone who prepares for it after his 11th grade.I had a chat about this with some guy,I understand how important it is but still you guys should let the kids chill rather than make them study these geeky things.

6th grade?  OMG.  Things have gotten really tough eh?  The IIT brand is very strong here in the Valley.  Its a badge, a club.  But, plenty of good people, smart people, successful people have come from other engineering colleges.  So if you don't get in, go somewhere else and work hard...Not the end of the world!
