According to the graph attached, how many low tides and high tides occurred in Panama City, FL?
use the red line :)
2 a day it seems :)
is it 3 low tides and 3 high tides ?
@kelliegirl33 u see that red line? that count as what has occured ^-^
@timo86m lol I was wondering if u count where that red line is or not XD if u do count it, it would make 2 and 2, but without it it would be 2 and 1 XD
wait.....don't count the predicted....just count the observed. So I see 2 of each.
@kelliegirl33 thank u! :D
you should thank @timo86m .....he gave you the right answer to begin with :)
predicted is same as actual :D
@kelliegirl33 lol ur like a mind reader O_O I was just writing him a message! XD
how is predicted the same as actual ?
it asks what occurs, so that wouldn't count predicted ;3
it is not exactly the same but very close :D and it can be used to count the tides.
I wouldn't think they would count predicted
that is true timo :D
and that is true kellie XD
it is just common knowledge that ties go in and out :)
The question asks how many......not how many they think will occur. Right ?
@kelliegirl33 it asks how many occured :)
so that would be 2 and 2 right? :) 2 low 2 high? :3
from when to when?
thats what I would put
@timo86m the red part shows what occured :D
it doesn't specify from when to when.....it just shows the graph.
4 in a period of 2 days 2 a day :P
I mean it shows what was observed XD
so we agree......2 high and 2 low.
blue line = predicted red line = observed ^-^
so we all agree 2 low 2 high right? :3
it seems that way :)
I guess thats a yes XD well I have 2 more of these, so if ya all have time, feel free to help ^-^ lol the more help, the more happiness, and the more medals XD thanks again u 2! :D
