Question

I've been doing battle with a spammer/troll for the last two days. He has been using foul language, has been ruthlessly spamming chat room, has evaded suspensions countless times, and has been extremely disruptive. If an admin reads this anytime soon, an IP ban would be greatly appreciated. He has gone under the following alliases: "micheal2392012" , "micheal2392018" , "micheal239" , "jake12345" , "mikenfxhnjxfhj" , "bfdgdfgh" , "xchdghdg" , "daveil" , "jake2345677" , "galenscot450" , "elnora" , "michealisback3" , "mikeyisback3" , "sfdafdmikey" , "mikey-well-never.stop" , "micheal-is-back".

I'm sure you can also pull up my suspension history from the last two days and see what I've been dealing with as well. I have not seen an admin on at all, otherwise I would have pm'd them. I'm going to check yammer in a minute.

And I believe that admins can only implement IP bans... why don't you PM one of them, instead of making this public?
I was told by @hartnn to avoid making public posts about trolls.

Trust me, so many people have been spamming the chatrooms lately that it's sickening.
Every day, a portion of the day is taken up by the TROLLS moment, when no matter how much I report them it doesn't affect anything, it takes like an hour for them to give up.
It actually has escalated.

Well I've been out of it for a while. Just been too busy with stuff to log on, but I like to come here when I'm bored to see if I can help out people. It's tough to do so when you have people like him interrupting with non-stop spam. And it seems like every time I'm here, I'm the only mod around, making it all the more difficult.

This site needs a sort of bot which detects if a user is spamming as well.
Or if they use too much rude language.
This would be really easy to do, I could even program it in PHP.
The mods have a life, too!

It's really neat that he's persistent about stopping these spammers.
I don't find anything wrong with him making a post about it, that's why it's funny that most mods criticize me for making public posts usually.

BostonBlue and Mertsj spent 2 hours yesterday, I even got him on PM and managed to speak to him but after the way he acted I noticed he is simply a troll, he supposedly said he was spamming because others were being mean but that is a LIE he is a troll with no life and has nothing better to do than spam, my suggestion is to wait since Mertsj has told the admins already and to IGNORE HIM I have told users so many times to ignore him but they won't, if you ignore his pitiful attempts to be cool he will loose interest and leave.

Yeah that is true @JA1 I tried to even get everyone to convene secretly in a different chat room so he could spam himself to his heart's desire, but it wasn't too successful.

Yea, I talked with @BostonBlue about this troll yesterday. She informeed @preetha about it. This guy has been doing this all week. An IP ban would be great, I only hope that he's not going to evade that one too :(

@thomaster yeah there was about 7-8 minutes worth of him just spamming gibberish in several chat rooms yesterday and in Music chat today he spammed the word "THANX" non-stop from 10:33 am to 10:52 am.

My motive is to make him go away. He's not doing anything, but, being annoying. Maybe if he saw how people are making a sorta big deal of this issue he would at least have the mere intelligence to leave. But, I guess you're right in a way.
