Which polynomial is written in descending order?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a) 9 - 3x + 4x2 b) -3x + 9 + 4x2 c) 4x2 - 3x + 9 d) 4x2 + 9 - 3x

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

A polynomail in descending order would be the highest exponent first to a term with the lowest exponent term, and if so, without a variable. So what do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d?

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

It's C. I forgot to tell you, if there's 2 number with no exponent (3x and 9) then the one with the variable go next, and the one without the variable go last.
