how can i tell if a series converges absolutely? or condtionally?

well the question is \[\sum_{1}^{\infty} (-1)^{n+1} / 2n+1\] and it says that B of n is \[\sum_{?}^{?} 1/N\] diverges . Im not sure why B of n is turned to 1/n and how it diverges
