Question

does taking this course give you school credits or no?

Answer 1

If something gives you course credit, it will be very clear on the signup about it. Otherwise, it does not.

For example, here is a MOOC with some credit classes:

Notice how HUGE the words College Credit are? There was nothing like that on the MIT site, so no credit.

Answer 2

how many credits is that intro to programming class?

Answer 3

never mind 4 units = 4 credits

Answer 4

Depends on if it is semester or quarter.... they translate differently
