Which of the following is false? A. When multiplying monomials, one should add the exponents of like terms. B. When dividing monomials, one should subtract the exponents of like terms. C. When dividing monomials, after the exponents of like terms are subtracted, the variable will always be placed in the denominator. D. When raising a monomial to a power, one should multiply all the exponents in the monomials by the power.

I know that A and B are both true so the answer cannot be A or B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know what C and D mean so if you could help me with that, that would be great

Actually now that I think about it C does make sense to me so I would say that C is the answer because it is false, right?
