Most graph have asymptote right? if i want to find the asymptote line, what should i do? Is it first finding the dy/dx of the graph then find its dydx limit to infinity?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

"most graphs" is prolly not an accurate assumption

OpenStudy (amistre64):

an asymptote is a line, or curve even, that the far ends of a graph approach

OpenStudy (amistre64):

vertical asymptotes cannot be crossed, but these are not really valid since they do not represent end limits horizontal asmptotes can be crossed but even out at the ends slant asymptotes can be crossed as well

OpenStudy (amistre64):

ive never tried to find an asymptote with a derivative, but it sounds plausible to me
