Graph 6x+2y= -12

OpenStudy (rmrjr22):

y = mx+b

OpenStudy (rmrjr22):

y= 3x-6

OpenStudy (raden):

you need x-intercept also y-intercept, then conecting that points. to get x-intercept take y = 0, then solve for x you will get (x,0) to get y-intercept take x = 0, then solve for y you will get (0,y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6x + 2y = -12 solve for y (just get y alone) so 2y = -6x - 12 y = -3x -6 use (-6) as your first point. go down 6 points on the y-axis. look at my drawing.|dw:1372220565098:dw| a bit messy, but i hope it helps!
