what is math

OpenStudy (espex):

In this case, D = 50 and b = 5000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how would the information be expressed in terms of the function g?

OpenStudy (espex):

D = g(b), plug in what you know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it 50= g(5000) because then that is not expressed in terms of the function of g

OpenStudy (espex):

That is expressed as a function of 'g'. You do not have any other information as to what 'g' is and so you are expressing it as 'g()' evaluated at 5000 is equal to 50. Perhaps I am not understanding what specifically you are looking for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe the answer is g(5000) = 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not D=g(b)

OpenStudy (espex):

Oh good lord. We shall not quibble over semantics.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for your help but unfortunately I believe you are wrong.
