A glider with mass m = 0.200kg sits on a frictionless horizontal air track, connected to a spring with force constant k = 5.00N/m . The glider is released from rest with the spring stretched 0.100 m. What is the displacement x of the glider from its equilibrium position when its speed is 0.20 m/s? (You should get more than one answer.) Also, why do I get more than one answer? I can only seem to get one...

speed is given by v = ω √ A^2 -x^2 A =0.1 m and ω you can find from k and m put the given value of v and find x^2 Then you will get two values of x - one positive ,other negative.
