unfortunately, the way math is taught at middle school and high school makes it seems like it is a bunch of formulas
in fact math has almost nothing to do with formulas, although you can use math to derive some
when you really study math you will be studying proving things. given what you know, what conclusions can you draw

lol.. math can be derived from anything. formulas and theorems are just set up so its easier to solve problems. Otherwise.. you are made up of math. One can find your density by dividing your mass and volume. (h*w*l)
