OpenStudy (anonymous):

find f(x) times g(x) f(x)=x^2+3x g(x)=x+5 also if you could f(x) times g(x) f(x)=x^2-2 g(x)=3x

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

What would you do if it were (a+b)*(c+d)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\bf f(g) \times g(x)=(x^2+3x)(x+5)\]Just use FOIL.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thankyou

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does using foil apply for multiplication and division too when doing these kind of preoblems?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

FOIL doesn't exist. Just multiply all elements of one by all elements of the other. We like to call it "Multiplication".
