Choose the graph below that correctly represents the equation 15x - 5y = 30. I have..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

converting the equation to slope intercept form would be easier to tell

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which is just solving for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont you have to divide

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep. 15x - 5y = 30 ---> -5y = -15x +30 -----> y = 3x - 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so your y-intercept will be (0,-6) and your slope is 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i got @robz8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

opps i meant the other one @robz8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the last one you posted looks good

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

as rob said solve for y and you see slope is 3 and y-int is -6. so the last graph you posted.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@robz8 looks like a lot of solving for y going around ;)
