Which of the following is not a step used when graphing the equation x + 3y = 3 using the x- and y- intercepts method? Plot the y-intercept (0, 1). Plot the intercept (3, 0). Count down 1 and right 3 from the y-intercept. Draw a line through the two points.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

one of these things should seem rather pointless to you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first 1 is pointless i think

OpenStudy (amistre64):

... well, its actually vital to the method they are suggesting: plot 2 points and draw a line. 1 and 2 are plotting the points, and 4 is drawing the line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its c

OpenStudy (amistre64):

id say C is rather pointless using the method they are suggesting, yes :)

Thanks
