What stage of cellular respiration uses the high-energy electrons from NADH and FADH2 to form ATP molecules? Krebs cycle Electron transport chain Fermentation Glycolysis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was thinking either Krebs Cycle or Glycolysis. Im probably wrong though haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or it is the Krebs cycle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thomaster Can you confirm that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

google

thomaster (thomaster):

In glycolysis, glucose is split into two pyruvate molecules and 2 ATP molecules are generate per molecule of glucose as well as 2 molecules of NADH Krebs Cycle uses the pyruvate molecules from glycolysis to generate 2 ATP as well as several molecules of FADH2 and NADH for the electron transport chain So neither of those 2 is correct. Electron transport chain uses the NADH and FADH2 molecules formed during glycolysis and krebs cycle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really? I would of never guessed. So its the electron transport chain. Thanks!

welcome

i have one last question for you @thomaster ill link you
