Hackathon Update & More!!!

Ok I know you are all very anxious about the hackathon but it will be delayed for a bit, problem is that @Preetha is working on getting the API's released to those that will be participating in the Hackathon. Now just to keep the ball rolling here I will be setting up a Pre-Registration form so we can just get a grasp of roughly how many participants we will have, now remember this will NOT be final, this is just to get some numbers in, also @Preetha can we get a bug/feedback form made so users can begin submitting ideas? On another note we will try to have the Hackathon up and over by the time school starts so we can have "The New OS" up by the time users begin to flock in. If you have any questions feel free to PM me, ad please don't blow up this post lol

Seems to me that you should include a definition to help avoid confusion.

1. Why the tagging party? It's rather annoying.
2. I agree, if this is official we need it to be in the little yellow box on the top of the page, so everyone knows. Preetha can do that, easy. There's a UI for it I believe, there's not even any coding required.
3. Bug/feedback section? This sounds like what we're posting in right now. Bad idea. It will equal confusion.
4. Those "API"s is actually quite easy to do. But I doubt OpenStudy even has admins any more. It seems like it only has Amazon tech support to deal with the server, and thats it. Even with the mobile app competition, I submitted my design, Pree said it was going to be judged/done at the end of the week and it never happened.

It all depends how fast Preetha can get the technical stuff done but I would say it's already 3 weeks behind and maybe add another 2 weeks on top of that :/
