well, the y-intercept is at (0,1) and the equation you gave has b = 1 which is the y-value of the y-intercept, so far so good. is the slope correct?
our y-value decreases as x increases. what does that imply about the slope (which is the coefficient of x in the equation)

the definition of slope is rise over run. look at (-3,3) to (0,1) — the y value decreases by 2 while the x value increases by 3. that means the slope is -2/3.
