Write the equation of the line that passes through (–3, 4) with a slope of 2 in point-slope form. y – 4 = 2(x + 3) y + 4 = 2(x – 3) y + 3 = 2(x – 4) y – 3 = 2(x + 4)
Oh my, Onee~sama, what do we have here? My my, I'll show you my math skills. (-3, 4) 2 y - 4 = 2(x - (3-) y - 4 = 2(x + 3) Was that so hard? :)
no :)
Haha, nice job
Not at all! You see, it's really easy :)
Write the equation of the line given by the following graph in slope-intercept form. y = –2x + 86 y = –2x – 10 y = –2x – 8 y = –2x + 10
Hmm, do you know how to work these types of equations?
unfortunately no
So, basically, you use rise/run on your slope and you run on your y-axis? Confused? You should be! :) It's not hard. Lets look at the first one. y = –2x + 86 I'm rising negative 2 spaces (meaning I'm going down on the x-axis, and I'm going over 1 space (because x = 1), then, I go over on my y-axis 86 spaces. I can tell you A isn't correct just looking at it. I mean, 86 spaces? Baha.
A is definitely not it ahah
So what about: y = –2x – 10 Go down negative two spaces, and the the right 1 (because it's positive. If it was -x, we'd go 1 to the left) Then, go negative -10 spaces on the y-axis. Hmm...
i dont think that's the answer
NONE of these are the answers, hun. :) You've been coaxed into a snafu!
wait what.... what's the answer? i'm confused. those are the only multiply choices i have.
multiple*
You sure about that @Compassionate
i am highly confused
Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?
huh? that makes no sense compassionate
Just pulling your leg. The answer is C.
Well I'm sure it might C.. but then again I'm never heard
With that said, I have to go! Bai bai! Let Luigi explain it to you!
awww luigi
Poor Luigi! If it makes you feel any better, just know that I honestly don't care about anything you say :) Jk :P
Hm, I have the username Luigi.. and I get treated like Luigi.. nice bonus >.>
