List Comprehensions are awesome!! Is there ever a case when you should NOT use them over the longer form?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

When you use them is basically to replace a for loop. From what I have read, when you do not use them is when a for loop would not be the best solution. As you learn more methods, you should run into this. As Python is not a language I really know that well, I can't say more than that. And I also agree that they are one of the great things that Python brings to the world of programming.
