To which graph does the point (2, 4) belong? y > x + 3 y > –x + 8 y > 4x – 5 y > –2x + 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is C. am i right?

OpenStudy (lopezking1):

What makes you think that :o

OpenStudy (rmrjr22):

plug it in and play... 4>4(2)-5 = true?

OpenStudy (lopezking1):

Plug in 2 for x and 4 for y and see for which equation it is true. 4 > 2 + 3 is false 4 > -2 + 8 is false 4 > 4(2) - 5 is true 4 > 3 4 > -2(2) + 9 is false

OpenStudy (rmrjr22):

4 ( greater than) 3? i think so

OpenStudy (anonymous):
