OpenStudy (anonymous):

which type of lines pass through points (1,2), (9,9) and (-12,-11), (-4,-4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just find the slope of the line, and take any two points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they all seem to be on the same line

OpenStudy (rmrjr22):

theyre on the same line...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be parallel perpendicular or neither?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

they are not all on the same line, the first two points belong to a line with slope 7/8 and the second pair of points are on a line with slope 7/8, but they are not on the same line. All one needs to do is look at the two points (9,9) and (-12,-11), they have slope of -20/-21 = 20/21. So they two lines are parallel.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

So the two lines are parallel.*
