trying to solve y'=500-y/40. i got dy/dx=(20000-y)/40. 1/(20000-y)dy=1/40 dx. how do i get 'y' out of this mess?

i think i have something. can someone confirm the following

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y'=\frac{ 500-y }{ 40 }\] ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yesi think i got it, nvm actually thanks!

ok np

depends how you want to solve it... as a linear equation or as a separable equation. Can do it two different ways
